The successful candidate will be responsible for managing activities between team members including project managers, engineers, construction management, and external contractors. This team will design and execute automation and grid modernization projects, such as breakers, RTUs or battery replacement projects, located in RGE and NYSEG territories in New York according to the Substation Digital Plan and as directed by T&amp;S Asset Planning or Maintenance Engineering. Responsibility includes meeting corporate goals for capital investment, managing Construction Work in Progress, and energization of projects. Accountable for coordinating activities between several Substation projects, by managing resource requirements, priorities, investment plans, project execution strategy and internal/external resource requirements.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Effective leadership in a matrix organization;</li><li>Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects — defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing to the risks, scope, schedule and budget;</li><li>Managing Teams — facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams</li><li>Implementation and Management of Quality and Environmental Process and procedures on all projects focusing on meeting SPI and CPI performance indicators less than 1.0;</li><li>Management of third-party projects including other transmission Customers and interconnecting customers</li><li>Accountable and Responsible for:</li><li>Cost /Budgeting and Management</li><li>Communication Management</li><li>Change Management</li><li>Schedule Management</li><li>Construction Management Oversight</li><li>Commissioning Management Oversight</li><li>Risk Management</li><li>Regulatory and Stakeholder Management</li><li>Responsible for the execution and successful completion of the project.
