This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and be a part of a critical project in the water resources sector.<ul><li>Develop and maintain databases for storing project data securely and efficiently.</li><li>Support the design and implementation of data collection tools (e.g., surveys, forms, spreadsheets).</li><li>Generate data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to support project monitoring and decision-making.</li><li>Collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all project components.</li><li>Provide recommendations based on data findings to improve efficiency and resource allocation.</li></ul>With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.Suitable applicants will have/be:<ul><li>Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences, Statistics, Computer Sciences or relevant field).</li><li>Minimum 05 experience in data analysis, preferably in development, engineering, or water resource projects.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).</li><li>Experience working with GIS data and tools will be an advantage.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.</li></ul>SMEC is an equal opportunity employer.
