Masters level students will not be considered. This first rotation begins January 2026 for the 3-semester rotation and the student will be working full-time hours Monday through Friday on-site at our Lafayette, Indiana location.  Expected graduation date should be August 2027 or later to allow enough time for 3 working semesters alternating with 3 school semesters.  This is a paid position but we don't offer housing assistance so candidates local to the Lafayette, IN area are preferred.     Student Objectives/Responsibilities:o   Support the development of advanced AI Laser and IV Vision Systemo   Support the development of Automation Systems for productiono   Analyze production processes for robotics integration reducing takt time. o   Utilize advanced Data Analytics like Power Query, MS Power BI, MS Fabric for our mTAMs (Mechanical Tooling Asset Management System)o    Review and storage of CAD tooling models for new moldso    Project status verification and manufacturer process verificationo    Increase technical skills by such as CNC Machining, Destructive testing,  Cycle Testing, Soldering of through hole and SM components.o    eTAMS (electrical tools) data entry, review, and analysis.     Education/Experience:   Co-op applicants must be undergraduate students working towards their Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering     All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. We value and encourage diversity in our team.
