We are seeking a creative, innovative, experienced, and hands-on professional to lead and drive Polestar Finland’s marketing. You will also collaborate with Global HQ to ensure brand consistency across the country and execute new initiatives and programs in alignment with our global marketing strategy. You’ll be responsible for successful product launches and strengthening consumer awareness and consideration of Polestar, directly impacting sales. And you will be reporting to the Managing Director of Polestar Finland. This position is located at office in Helsinki, Finland and is a mainly on-site position. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. The responsibilitiesIn this role, you'll be expected to be the primary point of contact for all marketing activities relating to the brand in the Finish market. Leading the marketing team, you'll be instrumental in continuing to grow the Polestar brand in Finland and drive brand awareness, consideration, and relevance amongst target audiences to get conversions to achieve the targets set for the Finish sales unit. Key stakeholders for everything related to brand and marketing across departments. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for: <ul> <li>Local marketing and brand strategy, consisting of the overall Global marketing strategy and implementation road map.</li> <li>Media campaigns Planning and reporting incl. </li> <li>Marketing budget ownership including reporting and forecasting</li> <li>Partnerships and local investor relations </li> <li>Agency lead  </li> <li>Space activation and Test drive strategy </li> <li>POC for HQ and all departments </li> <li>External/internal Marketing comms </li> <li>Marketing and brand guidelines</li> <li>People manager for our trainee in the marketing team.</li></ul>The ideal candidateIn order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible. We are looking for someone with strong and proven leadership skills within marketing management. Who has extensive knowledge of marketing and communications programs in traditional, digital and social landscapes. We see it as highly important to have experience with effective project management and that you are comfortable with multitasking, with having in mind efficiency. We see it as very positive if you have experience working in a global/regional/local matrix organization and have Financial and KPI planning and reporting experience.In addition, you'll need the following qualifications: <ul> <li>Proven experience with web, social, and paid analytics tools</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills: a collaborative ethos and the ability to effectively interact with and influence a diverse group of people</li> <li>Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills</li> <li>Degree in marketing, communications, or related field</li> <li>Fluent in Finish and English</li> <li>5+ years Marketing experience (2+ years in senior marketing level roles)</li> <li>Automotive experience is regarded as an asset.</li></ul>Polestar is an international company, with various backgrounds represented.
