These duties require a wide variety of knowledge in hardware, software, generation operations, networking systems, firewalls, security, power system modelling, remote field devices, and other technology involving new and existing legacy systems, along with supporting the AES Digital Strategy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop additional skills in a range of technologies and gain hands-on experience with both new and legacy systems.Key Responsibilities:System Configuration and Maintenance: Assist in configuring, installing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers, storage arrays, network devices, and software to ensure the reliable operation of the power grid.On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for resetting remote services, user passwords, troubleshooting ISP outages, and other system-related issues.
