This role will review new releases for design and manufacturing and support with recommendations for new equipment and tooling. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide shop support to aid in improving the coordination and collaboration between Engineering and Operations departments.YOUR IMPACT:  These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Responsible for completion of a project or parts of multiple projects of complexity on time and utilize lean/six sigma principles and methodologies in making process improvements.</li><li>Have a good understanding of takt time and cycle time and capable of doing calculations to define takt time and setup production line with respect to it.</li><li>Perform time studies for the current line and analyze imbalance in the line and do line balancing.</li><li>Create Yamazumi charts for line balancing.</li><li>Propose changes required to balance the line to operations team and get it implemented.</li><li>Collaborate as needed with other engineering business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.
