Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in industrial refrigeration? In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing and executing refrigeration systems, from component selection to full project realization. For our Heating and Refrigeration team in the Netherlands we are searching for a Mechanical Refrigeration EngineerResponsibilities / TasksAs Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for realization of the engineering, construction designs, material/equipment supply and project management for refrigeration projects. You are also in the lead for specific standardization, modularization and R&amp;D projects. You consult and report to the Team leader Refrigeration Engineering on the work to be performed and its progress.<ul><li>Calculate/verify/match the (main) components of the system and the preparation of material specifications.</li><li>Responsible for the design and realization of refrigeration diagrams and parts lists.</li><li>Calculating all pipe diameters and calculate and select the needed accessories.</li><li>Set up draft P&amp;ID for CAD engineer for non-catalog projects.</li><li>Execute the factory acceptance test (FAT).</li><li>Make preparation for orders (components and external assembly).</li><li>Preparation of the CE certificates (Machine Directive and PED) together with Documentation Support Officer.</li><li>Ensuring that our skids are build according to the developed engineering standards.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or experience in refrigeration technology.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial refrigeration, with knowledge of refrigeration plant safety, heat pumps, and regulatory directives.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD systems (Autodesk Plant P&amp;ID) and MS Office.</li><li>Familiarity with international design standards and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Excellent in English. Communication skills in Dutch is a plus.</li><li>Preferred: Knowledge of industrial automation, ERP systems (Microsoft Axapta), and electrical schematics.
