However, we will not be hiring within the San Francisco or New York City areas.<h3>What you’ll do:</h3><h3>Strategic Leadership and Planning</h3><ul style=""><li>Lead annual strategic planning for global logistics and distribution, ensuring alignment with overall business growth objectives and long-term scalability.</li><li>Assess global logistics and distribution networks, including Lime-operated and 3PL operations, to identify risks and opportunities, and develop plans to strengthen foundational capabilities.</li><li>Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process for logistics and distribution, maintaining accountability for variances and performance against budget throughout the year. </li></ul><h3>Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement</h3><ul style=""><li>Conduct cost and risk analyses across global distribution operations, using data-driven insights to continuously refine processes and drive efficiency.</li><li>Enhance logistics and distribution performance through the development and refinement of key metrics and KPIs, ensuring consistent progress toward operational goals. </li></ul><h3>Vendor and Contract Management</h3><ul style=""><li>In partnership with Strategic Sourcing and Legal, lead global logistics and distribution RFPs and manage vendor selection based on ROI, benefits, and risks.</li><li>Partner with Strategic Sourcing to help drive contract negotiations, including service terms, rates, and SLAs, to ensure optimal vendor performance and alignment with business needs. </li></ul><h3>Compliance and Inventory Governance</h3><ul style=""><li>Oversee global customs, regulatory, duty, and tax compliance programs in coordination with the Global Trade Compliance Manager, ensuring full adherence to international regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure global compliance with inventory-related principles and processes across internal and partner distribution networks. </li></ul><h3>Team Development and Leadership</h3><ul style=""><li>Manage, develop, and grow the global logistics and distribution leaders and their teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.</li></ul><h3>About you:</h3><ul style=""><li>10 - 15+ years of experience managing global distribution and logistics functions.</li><li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience at a senior management level, preferably Director, building and managing global teams across logistics and distribution functions.</li><li>Previous experience managing DG &amp; Hazmat related packaging, handling, storing and transportation requirements for Lithium Ion batteries.</li><li>Prior experience developing and implementing global logistics and distribution strategies.</li><li>A critical and creative thinker, you find solutions “outside the box” when needed to accomplish goals and execute on strategy.</li><li>Minimum of 10+ years experience with working knowledge of distribution and logistics services within EU, NA and APAC regions, spanning all modes of transportation and distribution functions.</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Excellent written and verbal communication with prior experience speaking and presenting at an executive level.</li><li>Able to effectively educate &amp; influence stakeholders lacking supply chain experience about global operations.</li><li>Experience with NetSuite (or other ERPs), WMS and TMS platforms.</li></ul>#LI-Remote#LI-HS1If you want to make an impact, Lime is the place for you.
