The position will lead Cross-Functional teams with Logistics, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineers, Product Engineering, New Product Introduction and others to ensure the General Assembly process is properly designed and implemented. </p><p><span> </span></p><p>You will:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate the ability to lead technical efforts of teams engaged in complex new process development</li><li>Develop an assembly plan for the launch of new products and new processes and execute</li><li>Develop and generate General Assembly PFMEA and Control Plans for all process steps</li><li>Co-ordinate launch activities with both Plant and Vehicle engineering</li><li>Help Achieve defined volume, worker density, costs, and safety objectives</li><li>Identify, trial, and implement new tooling, equipment and processes that can improve manpower efficiency and quality</li><li>Effectively manage Bill of Process and Factory Resources in 3DX DELMIA</li><li>Maintain and execute MODAPTS time studies through ProPlanner</li><li>Develop training programs for production associates</li><li>Along with Logistics develop lineside layouts and maintain PFEP for delivery of parts and presentation to the operators</li><li>Experience working with the following equipment: Robotics EOAT, Pick and Place Lift assists and automation, adhesive dispensation, vision systems and metrology</li><li>Assign Torque tooling and help execute complete tooling strategy for area of ownership</li><li>Generate detailed work instructions in Proplanner for all operators and stations</li></ul><p> </p><p>You bring:</p><ul><li>Ba<span>chelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience</span></li><li>8+ years of related experience developing and launching complex assembly processes</li><li>Extensive proficiency creating written and pictorial documentation of manufacturing processes</li><li>Work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines</li><li>Remain engaged, pro-active, and positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full accountability for their success</li><li>Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments</li><li>Maintain flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments, coping with rapidly changing information</li><li>Collect, analyze, and summarize information to a general understanding, thinking abstractly and separating complex ideas into simple elements</li><li>Being creative and provide innovation idea to improve process/technology in the past projects is a plus</li><li>Communicate clearly using written and verbal skills</li><li>Well organized with meticulous attention to detail</li><li> Willingness to travel up to 40% (US and International)</li><li>Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint and Proficiency with CATIA, 3DX experience</li></ul><p> </p><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
