With 2 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform geotechnical engineering analysis and design, including bearing capacity, settlement, rotational stiffness, liquefaction, seepage, and slope stability. </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct underground corrosion analysis to ensure long-term foundation durability and structural integrity. </li></ul><ul><li>Perform desktop studies for preliminary foundation designs and site assessments. </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and review scopes of work, analyses, recommendations, and design calculations for civil/geotechnical subcontractors. </li></ul><ul><li>Identify potential geotechnical risks that could impact design, construction costs, or project schedules. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with civil engineers, structural engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure successful project execution. </li></ul><ul><li>Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in geotechnical engineering. </li></ul>Qualifications Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). </li></ul><ul><li>EIT certification required; working towards a P.E. license.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on foundation design for driven, helical, screw, and equipment foundations. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in geotechnical software, including PLAXIS 2D/3D, PYPile, L-Pile, A-Pile, Group, GeoStudio, SWMM, and HYDROCAD. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with AASHTO and ASTM test methods for construction materials (HMA, aggregates, soils, steel, masonry, and concrete). </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of soil corrosion analysis and behavior of collapsible, liquefiable, swelling, and frost-susceptible soils. </li></ul>  Preferred Experience: <ul><li>Proficiency in STAAD Pro or similar structural analysis software. </li></ul><ul><li>Solar industry experience is a plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Hands-on experience in conducting or witnessing pile load tests. </li></ul><ul><li>Programming knowledge (VBA, Python) for automation or data analysis. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with FHWA and DIN 50929 standards. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with civil grading and SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan). </li></ul><ul><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D. </li></ul>
