Reports To: Group Tax Director, ANZ and Asia Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asia Tax Assistant Manager to oversee tax operations across South East Asia. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience in multinational corporations (MNCs) and possess a deep understanding of regional tax regulations and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and oversee all tax-related activities in South East Asia, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.</li><li>Manage and oversee the quarterly and annual tax provision process under both US GAAP and local South East Asia financial reporting standards, using OneSource software.</li><li>Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and minimize risks.</li><li>Coordinate with local tax authorities and external advisors to resolve tax issues and disputes.</li><li>Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.</li><li>Provide tax advice and support to various business units and departments.</li><li>Conduct tax audits and manage relationships with external auditors.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of tax records.</li><li>Collaborate with the global tax team to align regional tax strategies with overall corporate objectives.</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.</li></ul>
