The candidate must be reliable and able to work well in a team and have experience with mechanical assembly.  <em>This is a 6-months TEMP role. </em></p><p> </p><h3>Job Responsibilities </h3><ul> <li>Assemble battery components according to given specifications. </li> <li>Test completed batteries to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.</li> <li> Inspect materials and components for quality issues using tools such as micrometer, mass scale, digital multi-meter, and cliper. </li> <li>Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor/manager. </li> <li>Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets. </li> <li>Operate and maintain assembly line equipment. </li> <li>Troubleshoot minor technical issues with assembly equipment. </li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li> <li>Follow company’s safety protocols. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Experience with (OR willingness to learn) using hand tools such as die punch, rotary tool, cutters. </li> <li>Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. </li> <li>Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools. </li> <li>Basic understanding of assembly line processes. </li> <li>Basic computer skills for accurate data entry. </li> <li>Attention to detail and focus on quality. </li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li> <li>Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and workplace policies. </li> <li>Team work oriented mind-set. </li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Education, Certifications, Experience </strong></p><ul> <li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. </li> <li>One (1) year of experience as an equipment operator or technician in one of the following industries: Semiconductor, solar, battery, electronics, or automotive.</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Location: </strong></p><ul> <li>Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required. </li> <li>Be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. </li> <li>May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.</li> <li>Adhere to safety protocol and use personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes. </li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Work Schedule </strong></p><ul> <li>Alternate Workweek Schedule (AWS): 3-days x 12-hour / 4-days x 12-hour every other week. </li> <li>Shift timings from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Salary: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
