POSITION SUMMARY: The Emergency Response Supervisor – Marine is responsible for the management and execution of emergency spill responses and environmental projects across a designated region for vessel and facility clients. This individual is on-call 24/7 and serves as the primary point of contact during incidents, ensuring rapid mobilization of resources and compliance with all federal, state, tribal, and local regulations.The Emergency Response Supervisor collaborates closely with agencies such as the U.S. Coast Guard, EPA, BSEE, state environmental departments, and DoD, sometimes operating within a Unified Command structure under the Incident Command System (ICS). The supervisor manages and activates the Independent Contractor Network (ICN) and leverages Republic Service’s internal Emergency Response, Industrial Services, Transportation, and Disposal assets to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient response operations.This role also plays a key role in client preparedness through training, table-top exercises (TTX), site visits, and ongoing relationship development.
