This individual will lead our business development efforts while ensuring day-to-day business operations run smoothly. This is a foundational leadership role with significant impact and growth potential.Role OverviewThis is a role that’s ideal for someone that is eager to roll up their sleeves and move fast. As Head of Business Development &amp; Operations, you’ll be a key driver of our growth - responsible for both landing new business and building the internal systems that keep us scaling . You’ll work directly with the founders to shape GTM strategy, close deals, and build the operational backbone of a high-performance team.What You’ll OwnBusiness Development &amp; Partnerships (Primary Responsibilities)<ul> <li>Lead full-cycle sales: prospect, pitch, close, and expand accounts</li> <li>Build and execute a GTM strategy that drives ARR growth</li> <li>Cultivate relationships with key accounts, partners, and industry stakeholders</li> <li>Represent the company externally at events, conferences, and on-site with clients </li> <li>Collaborate with marketing to sharpen messaging and outreach </li> </ul>Business Operations<ul> <li>Design and optimize processes across sales, onboarding, billing, and support</li> <li>Own and improve CRM and reporting systems to ensure visibility and accountability</li> <li>Align cross-functional teams (product, marketing, customer success)</li> <li>Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies before they become bottlenecks including leveraging AI-powered tools to ensure we stay ahead of the curve</li> </ul>Leadership &amp; Strategy<ul> <li>Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and founding team</li> <li>Provide insights that shape product development and customer experience</li> <li>Build and lead future hires across sales, operations, customer success</li> <li>Own revenue forecasting and performance tracking</li> </ul>RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For<ul> <li>5–8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, with strong track record in business development or sales</li> <li>Experience working in or selling into industrial markets (metal recycling a plus)</li> <li>Proven closer with knack for building long-term partnerships</li> <li>Operationally minded with experience building systems in a hyper-growth environment</li> <li>Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and wears multiple hats with ease</li> </ul>Nice to Have<ul> <li>Fast-growth startup experience, particularly in a founder-led sales environment</li> <li>Network in the scrap/recycling ecosystem</li> <li>Experience hiring or managing lean, high-output teams</li> <li>Background in business operations or revenue ops</li> </ul>You’re a GREAT Fit if You:<ul> <li>Thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments</li> <li>Are energized by ownership and solving real-world problems</li> <li>Want to help build something from 1 to n with a team that moves fast</li> <li>See ambiguity as an opportunity, not a blocker</li> <li>Are looking for a mission—not just a job</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>High-impact leadership role with real ownership and autonomy</li> <li>Competitive base salary, performance-based commission, and meaningful equity</li> <li>The chance to shape a company and solve real-world problems in a critical industry</li> </ul>
