This role will be a key member of the accounting team in providing costing support and in other accounting areas.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain standard cost accounting system.</li><li>Perform month-end close closing process.</li><li>Perform account reconciliation of inventories and cost of sales.</li><li>Prepare period cost reserve analysis, E&amp;O reserve analysis, and related journal entries.</li><li>Perform variance analysis such as Purchase Price Variance and Work Order variances.</li><li>Prepare period cost reserve analysis, E&amp;O reserve analysis, and related journal entries.</li><li>Prepare quarterly variance explanation for income statement and balance sheet.</li><li>Lead year end physical inventory.</li><li>Prepare various daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.</li><li>Assist and prepares for SOX Testing and other financial audits.</li><li>Ensure accuracy of financial information in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with internal accounting policies &amp; procedures</li><li>Assists with related special projects as required and other duties as assigned by Controller.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Required.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of related experience in job cost analysis</li><li>Experience with proper procedures for month-end cutoff transactions &amp; reconciliation of subledgers to General Ledger</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial statements and reports</li><li>Info XA ERP and BNA Fixed Assets experience a plus.</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Working on holidays may be required.</li></ul>Salary: Up to 140K#teledynerelaysIn our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Relays requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).Please note the salary range posted is a general guideline for this job level and location.
