Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Heavy Equipment Spare Parts Manager to oversee the spare part strategy including; pricing, procurement, allocation &amp; distribution of spare parts for our fleet of heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts management within industries such as construction, mining, or heavy equipment manufacturing, and will be responsible for optimizing spare parts availability while minimizing downtime and costs.<div></div>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supply Management:<ul><li>Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and OEMs.</li><li>Purchase material by necessary methods defined by urgency.</li><li>Develop delivery schedules for spare parts based on demand.</li></ul></li><li>Logistics &amp; Distribution:<ul><li>Coordinate timely delivery of spare parts to field locations or service teams.</li><li>Support inbound/outbound logistics and ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>Oversee and coordinate the RMA process</li></ul></li><li>Data &amp; Reporting:<ul><li>Use ERP or inventory systems to track KPIs such as turnover rates and stockouts.</li><li>Generate reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and cost savings.</li></ul></li><li>Customer Support &amp; Internal Collaboration:<ul><li>Collaborate with maintenance, service, and operations teams to forecast parts needs.</li><li>Respond promptly to urgent parts requests to minimize equipment downtime.</li></ul></li><li>Spare Part Pricing Strategy:<ul><li>Work with cross functional team to define the pricing strategy for spare parts.</li><li>Work with Sourcing to develop comprehensive sourcing strategy.</li></ul></li></ul><div></div>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).</li><li>10+ years of experience in spare parts or inventory management in the heavy equipment or industrial sector.</li><li>Proven knowledge of heavy machinery (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Volvo) and their parts catalogs.</li><li>Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).</li><li>Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.</li></ul><div></div>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Familiarity with ISO standards and safety compliance in warehouse operations.</li><li>Experience with predictive maintenance or CMMS platforms.</li></ul>Mechanical or technical background for understanding parts functions and compatibilityNextracker offers a comprehensive benefits package.
