Job Description:Job DescriptionNextracker is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing and supply chain strategy for electrical and mechanical components. This role will be instrumental in ensuring a resilient supply chain, driving cost reduction initiatives, and fostering supplier innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement processes including NPI, supplier management, and manufacturing operations, particularly within the EMS environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan for electrical and mechanical components in alignment with organizational goals.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.</li><li>Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee performance to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.</li><li>Continuously assess supplier performance in cost, quality, engineering support, and reliability, implementing corrective actions when necessary.</li><li>Drive innovation and cost reduction initiatives through supplier collaboration and process improvements.</li><li>Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to align sourcing activities with production requirements.</li><li>Conduct cost analyses, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency.</li><li>Ensure procurement processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.</li><li>Identify and mitigate risks related to sourcing and procurement, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and financial instability of suppliers.</li><li>Monitor industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market availability to refine sourcing strategies.</li><li>Manage RFQs, support contract manufacturing services (CMS) negotiations, and handle escalations.</li><li>Oversee quarterly pricing cycles, inventory revaluation, non-recurring expenses (NREs), reconciliation, and capacity expansion.</li><li>Maintain supplier performance metrics and organize quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers.</li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.</li></ul>What We Look For<ul><li>Self-enough professional</li><li>Intense collaboration</li><li>Passionate customer focus</li><li>Thoughtful, fast, and disciplined execution</li><li>Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing and supply chain for electrical sub-components (e.g., PCB, Actives, Passives, IC’s, Memory) and mechanical parts (e.g., enclosures, castings, cables, connectors).</li><li>Proven experience managing a global supplier base and distributed teams.</li><li>Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes for PCBA, box integration, and mechanical assemblies.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, creativity, and effective communication abilities.</li><li>High level of autonomy and accountability for results.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Experience in Tier 1 EMS management.</li><li>Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is a plus.</li><li>Willingness to travel (up to 20%) across Asia, USA and Europe.</li></ul>About NextrackerAt Nextracker, we are leading the energy transition by providing the most comprehensive portfolio of intelligent solar trackers and software solutions for solar power plants.
