Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Serve as the technical authority for all Finite Element Analysis (FEA) activities, with a focus on ANSYS simulations in compliance with ASME Section VIII and/or Section III design codes.</li><li>Lead all engineering efforts related to new product development, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, detailed analysis, and the definition of testing requirements.</li><li>Collaborate directly with new and existing customers to address complex engineering challenges and deliver tailored technical solutions.</li><li>Act as a key contributor in the development of innovative products and processes, driving technical excellence and continuous improvement.</li><li>Continuously expand your understanding of company processes, technologies, and customer needs to support long-term success.</li><li>Deliver accurate and timely technical support in accordance with internal specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.</li><li>Maintain close working relationships with teams in engineering, manufacturing, and business development across all Freudenberg Flow Technologies locations.</li><li>Consistently uphold and embody the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and Business Values in all professional activities.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in relevant industries, with a strong background in mechanical or structural design.</li><li>At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) related to product development in applicable sectors.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree (BEng or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.</li><li>Must hold a valid P.Eng designation (Professional Engineer) in a Canadian province.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of industry standards including ASME Section VIII, API, NORSOK, and DNV.</li><li>Proficiency in ANSYS and SolidWorks is required; experience with Caesar II is considered an asset.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in cradle-to-grave product development, from concept through to final release and support.</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
