We’re also building the Energy Network: a decentralised network of smart devices where users get rewarded in Energy Dollars for electrifying their homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours, and helping balance the grid.<h3>Role Overview</h3>We’re looking for a deeply networked and execution-focused Senior Technical Recruiter to lead backend engineering hiring at Fuse. This role is ideal for someone with strong agency experience placing top-tier backend engineers into hedge funds, high-frequency trading firms, or elite tech companies. You’ll work closely with founders, technical leaders, and hiring managers to shape our engineering team.<h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Develop tailored sourcing strategies to engage top-tier talent from hedge funds, trading firms, and elite technical organisations</li> <li>Screen and assess candidates for both technical excellence and cultural fit</li> <li>Run high-quality processes: drive pipeline activity, facilitate debriefs, and ensure seamless candidate experiences</li> <li>Negotiate offers and close world-class talent in competitive markets</li> <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs and timelines</li> </ul>Requirements<ul><li>5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a heavy focus on backend roles in high-performance engineering environments</li></ul><ul> <li>Agency background working with trading firms, hedge funds, or HFTs</li> <li>Proven ability to identify and close candidates with niche, in-demand skill sets</li> <li>Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates</li> <li>Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of an organization</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Experience with ATS tools, reporting, and data-driven recruiting practices</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Biannual bonus scheme</li> <li>Fully expensed tech to match your needs!</li> <li>Breakfast and dinner for office-based employees</li> <li>Opportunity to work closely with senior business leaders and exposure to building a global energy business</li> </ul>
