You will lead, train, and support a team of installers including overseeing work performance, and provide project status updates to the Director of Construction and/or Commercial Operations Manager.</span></div><br><br><h3>Job Duties:</h3><ul><li>Provides leadership for those reporting to you by clearly communicating the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Solar Power.</li><li>Plans, coordinates and organizes people, equipment, tools, and materials to promote the safe, efficient, and timely construction of the project.</li><li>Ensures that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.</li><li>Maintains accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, timesheets, photos, and daily management reports. (Procore)</li><li>May assist in developing a weekly schedule and in carrying out a sequence of activities for assigned crew.</li><li>Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while maintaining the company’s reputation for quality workmanship/product.</li><li>Responsible for the safety of those on the crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety regulations.</li><li>Develops and conducts toolbox meetings; communicates safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules to lead and crews.</li><li>Ensures that crew members clock in and out daily to log work hours. Approve timecards weekly. </li><li>Monitors compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all FSP policies. </li><li>Assist with other duties as assigned. </li></ul><h3>Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of local electrical codes</li><li>Knowledge of commercial PV design and components</li><li>Knowledge of basic trades: roofing, carpentry, plumbing, and metal framing</li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical instructions</li><li>Ability to make field changes and communicate with Project Manager and Construction Manager</li><li>Ability to test voltages from 10V – 1000VDC / 120V – 480VAC</li><li>Ability to manage up to 20 installers on one project</li><li>Ability to receive and distribute instructions</li><li>Ability to communicate problems to Project Manager</li><li>Ability to drive a truck and trailer safely</li><li>Ability to operate heavy equipment: skid-steer, forklift, reach boom, scissor lift, articulating boom lift, and skytrack.</li><li>Ability to fly a DJI Phantom drone safely</li></ul><h3>  Education and Experience Required:</h3><ul><li>3+ years of construction experience required. </li><li>Active Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician License Required.  </li><li>Ability to travel 70% of the time and work varying shifts as needed to include weekends and overtime. </li><li>Valid Driver’s License Required. </li><li>Must be computer/technical savvy. </li><li>OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred. </li><li>NFPA 70E Certified</li><li>NABCEP Certification</li><li>Experience with solar projects</li><li>Mechanical experience and/or aptitude</li></ul><h3>Physical and Environmental Requirements: </h3><ul><li>Ability to withstand heights, be on roofs, and climb ladders </li><li>Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs routinely </li><li>Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and lift</li><li>Ability to work in 30-100+ degree weather, as well as in wet and dry conditions</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We understand you may be a great candidate without fitting all our preferred experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes.
