Teledyne Microwave Solutions invests heavily in research and development to maintain the ability to offer the world’s most advanced MW/RF capabilities for current and emerging challenges.Teledyne Microwave Solutions is hiring a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with the following essential duties and responsibilities:Qualifications<ul><li>Develop and design mechanical components and assemblies for RF MIC modules and sub-systems, including key contributor in component design - material and manufacturing method selection, analysis of mechanical stress and compatibility, load distribution, tolerancing, and design for manufacturability, including preparation of detailed documentation and in-depth technical review.</li><li>Perform engineering calculations to support design concepts, including stress analysis/FEA for mechanical robustness, and tolerance models</li><li>Collaborate with electrical, process, and manufacturing engineering teams to insure seamless integration of electrical, process, and manufacturability into designs and design fluidity</li><li>Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software</li><li>General knowledge of working materials such as Aluminum, Molybdenum, Kovar, and ceramic is a plus</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Some experience with FEA modeling setup &amp; model check to ensure accurate analysis</li><li>Evaluate validation requirement from customer and develop adequate test methods &amp; design jigs</li><li>Evaluate design alternatives based on cost, quality and production feasibility</li><li>Create test reports and present to customers</li><li>Lead product testing and coordinate various activities</li><li>Document assembly and test procedures, programs and test systems and part set up, and creation of BOM’s and routings in the company’s ERP/PDM System</li><li>Other job duties as assigned.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years of related experience. </li><li>Highly effective design skills in CAD (SolidWorks) </li><li>Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal &amp; written communication</li><li>Ability to plan &amp; prioritize</li><li>Experience in FEA is a strong plus</li><li>Strong analytical &amp; problem solving skills</li><li>US Citizen with ability to attain/maintain Government Security Clearance</li></ul></div></div></div></div>  Salary Range: $177,500.00-$236,600.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
