The Billing Specialist is responsible for processing all necessary credit notes and assists aur Accounts receivable team in reconciling.  PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES     <ul><li>Assists revenue recognition in the daily and month end closing processes. </li></ul><ul><li>Processes milestone billing and all external billing portals such as Oracle Textura. </li></ul><ul><li>Processes customer payment applications and working with our Project Management team on specific milestone structures. </li></ul><ul><li> Manages all customer credit note requests, including special pricing agreements and annual bonus structures. </li></ul><ul><li>Evaluates blocked billing items queue by finding a resolution with the Billing Lead in clearing and releasing the accounting documents produced by SAP database for accurate revenue recognition </li></ul><ul><li>Manages the returns credit process, including researching related documentation and pricing, obtaining approvals, verification of returned products, coordinating returns delivery with the Returns team and Transportation teams. </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinates with AR team to ensure credit notes are processed on time. </li></ul><ul><li>Supports the Accounts Receivables department and the Billing Lead in reconciling receivables with billing items. </li></ul><ul><li>Manages email and Phone inquiries from customers and the service department. </li></ul><ul><li>Other duties as may be required or assigned.  </li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS    <ul><li>Associate degree in business or logistics is strongly preferred.  </li></ul><ul><li>At least 3 - 5 years of experience in an administrative or logistical support role are required.  </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of SAP/ Salesforce is recommended.  </li></ul><ul><li>Order Management and customer service skills  </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of logistics and freight forwarders (FedEx, TMS etc.)  recommended  </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.
