You may also perform inventory tracking and assist with warehouse organization.How You Will Do It<ul><li>Operate forklift, pick orders, stage material and load/unload trucks</li><li>Verify that product meets quality standards and keep records of approved and defective units</li><li>Clean equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between jobs.</li><li>Follow all safety, quality and production specifications, instructions, written and verbal.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>1+ year(s) of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting required.</li><li>Previous certification on stand-up or sit-down forklifts, with willingness to be recertified.</li><li>Comfortable working 12+ hour days.</li><li>Ability to stand/walk for long period of time.</li><li>Ability to work in a hot environment.</li><li>Ability to physically bend, twist and kneel in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Basic math, reading and writing skills.</li><li>Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.</li><li>Ability to come in early or stay late depending on production demands.</li><li>Must be able to wear required PPE.</li></ul>What We Do HereOur fully integrated plant near Portland, Oregon manufactures batteries for cars, boats, motorcycles and heavy-duty trucks and will soon celebrate 50 years in operation.
