At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.</p><p><br>In line with the above, ACCIONA are now looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join the Alkimos Project. The Senior Electrical Project Engineer would play a crucial role in the Mechanical &amp; Electrical installation phase.<br><br><b>Specific Tasks Include</b></p><ul><li>Provide positive leadership to staff, contractors, and key stakeholders across the project.</li><li>Responsible for a number electrical focused packages, including LV, ITS and Comms.</li><li>Cross discipline coordination between civil, mechanical &amp; electrical construction teams.</li><li>Development of scope and contract documents for procurement of electrical supply &amp; installation subcontracts.</li><li>Participate and lead design &amp; constructability reviews for assigned work packages.</li><li>Drive commitment to safety, quality, and commercial best practices.</li><li>Continually assess the project for high-risk activities and hazards and ensure action is taken.</li><li>Provide support and advice on planning and design suitability and options to ensure project success, value for money and best practice are achieved.</li><li>Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.</li><li>Manage cost control for certain aspects of the project in order to ensure the project meets its performance targets in relation to budget.</li><li>Identify and forecast risks and opportunities for the project package of works.</li><li>Manage the delivery of works both subcontracted and self-performed.</li></ul><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Required Skills and Competencies</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><ul><li>Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully delivering Electrical packages for large infrastructure projects.</li><li>Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Prior experience working in tunnels would be advantageous</li></ul><p><br><b>What we offer</b><br>ACCIONA offers a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
