We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do:<ul><li>Support flutter analysis of the vehicle from preliminary design to certification in accordance with certification requirements. </li><li>Support the generation of gust loads for the vehicle in accordance with certification requirements.</li><li>Support aeroservoelastic analyses of the vehicle.</li></ul><ul><li>Support planning, execution and data analysis of aircraft ground vibration test.</li><li>Support planning, execution and data analysis of flight tests to demonstrate aeroelastic performance.</li><li>Contribute to the development of the aeroelastic analysis toolchain.</li><li>Contribute to the development of the whole aircraft finite element model and their validation to test data.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure on time delivery of data</li></ul>What you need:<ul><li>BS / MS / PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related fields</li><li>10+ years of experience with BS, or 5+ years of experience with MS+ performing loads/aeroelastic analysis for fixed-wing vehicles and/or rotorcraft</li><li>Experience with fixed-wing aircraft flutter analysis.</li><li>Experience with fixed-wing aeroelastic analysis.</li><li>Experience with finite element modelling.</li><li>Experience with Nastran (MSC or NX) and Patran/FEMAP</li><li>Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink scripting</li><li>Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced design environment</li><li>Ability to work in groups and individually</li></ul>Bonus Qualifications:<ul><li>Familiarity with aircraft and rotorcraft certification standards (14 CFR Part 23, 25 and 27)</li><li>Experience with GRCAS/RCAS</li><li>Previous experience of planning and executing aircraft ground vibration test.</li><li>Experience in developing loads for eVTOL vehicles, including loads for airframe components, tilting mechanisms, rotor blades, as well as variable pitch mechanisms</li><li>Prior experience working on an aerospace certification program, from concept through V&amp;V and certification</li></ul>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
