We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.</div></div></div></div></div></div>Essential Duties:As the Director - Technical Accounting, you will be a key member of our corporate accounting team, responsible for overseeing all technical accounting across our global operations.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an emerging growth company while leveraging your expertise in technical accounting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Will Include:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Act as the subject matter expert on US GAAP and SEC regulations for preparing and filing SEC reports and demonstrate a clear understanding of related authoritative literature governing financial reporting for public companies.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Prepare technical accounting memos and analysis, including preparation and review of technical accounting items.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Review Customer Contract Review Templates in accordance with ASC 606.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Assist in ensuring compliance with new accounting standards and provide guidance to ensure proper accounting treatment.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Assist in managing acquisitions, including due diligence, opening balance sheet and purchase accounting. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Manage the development, implementation, and adherence to global accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Work closely with external auditors, preparing and providing necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and timely audit process.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Provide technical accounting training to support the business in understanding the accounting implications relating to routine transactions.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Support the Corporate Accounting Team and the executive leadership team by providing financial insights, guidance, and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, partners, and external stakeholders.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Mentor, supervise, and develop members of the accounting and finance team to ensure a high level of efficiency and expertise.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">CPA certification is required.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">9+ years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting matters.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with Oracle ERP system a plus.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to non-accounting colleagues.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</li></ul><div>The position is full-time.
