The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Wulkuraka, Queensland. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure the execution of maintenance activities on site in accordance with the contractual KPIs</li><li>Ensure monitoring, analysing and reporting on-site system performance</li><li>Ensure the execution of first level of troubleshooting on site in case of issues</li><li>Ensure logs and dump files download from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysis</li><li>Ensure monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance and provide technical reporting to the Client.</li><li>Ensure the execution of on-site maintenance task ensuring the application of OHS and STS HSMS rules</li><li>Ensure the availability of local stock and repair process activation</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Electrical Trade qualification (i.e. Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician) is essential</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field, including RPEQ, is desirable</li><li>2-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Rail Signal industry with demonstrated capability and skills in:<ul><li>Electrical equipment and high-risk environments</li><li>Use of Test equipment (e.g. Digital and Analog multi-meters, insulation meters, etc.)</li><li>Use of Computer based test software</li><li>Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Knowledge of Incident/accident investigation</li><li>Knowledge of ERP and Configuration Management tools</li><li>Knowledge of Database tools</li></ul></li></ul>At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
