We are seeking a results driven Technical Sales Representative to join our Industrial Automation team in Cape Town. As a Technical Sales Representatives you will have access to multiple reputable brands from various portfolios to address client needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial automation products and the markets in which they are used in Cape Town. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients</li><li>Identify and develop new sales opportunities</li><li>Address all customer inquiries including technical questions</li><li>Present technical products and solutions clearly and confidently</li><li>Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth</li><li>Increase technical knowledge</li><li>Update CRM information and feedback on market</li><li>Attend networking events and trade shows</li></ul>RequirementsEducation:<ul><li>Engineering/Electrical qualification advantageous</li><li>Valid driver’s license and own transport.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in technical sales</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical components in the automation industry, PLC’s, Switchgear, Cables, Sensors etc.</li><li>Proven track record of matching products to client needs and achieving sales targets.</li></ul>Personal Profile:<ul><li>Professional</li><li>Self- motivated</li><li>Sense of urgency</li><li>Service oriented</li><li>Resourceful</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Ability to build and maintain professional relationships</li><li>Excellent communication, verbal and written</li><li>Negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to explain product features and benefits</li><li>Commercial awareness</li><li>Microsoft Office suite</li><li>Netsuite ERP experience advantageous</li></ul>
