<h1><strong>About the role</strong></h1><p>Muon seeks an Assembly, Integration, &amp; Test Technician to join our team.  The ideal candidate is a self-motivated technician that will play a hands-on role in testing our PCBAs and spacecraft to prepare flight hardware as a part of building the satellites. </p><h1><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h1><ul><li>Performs operational tests on a wide variety of subassemblies and systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, test specifications and test procedures.</li><li>Works with engineering instructions and standard test procedures to operationally test developmental products as required.</li><li>Sets up and operates in accordance with prescribed procedures using standard test equipment such as pulse generators, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc.</li><li>Interprets test data and checks results against specifications and test procedures and data sheets to determine proper functioning and quality of product.</li><li>Operate Vacuum Chambers: Safely setup, operate and monitor thermal vacuum chambers, ensuring test environments meet mission requirements for pressure, cleanliness, and thermal stability</li><li>Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve problems with test hardware, instrumentation, and vacuum chambers in real time during test operations</li><li>Assembly &amp; Fabrication: Assemble mechanical and electrical test setups from engineering drawings and schematics</li><li>Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with test engineers and AIT technicians to ensure smooth and safe test operations</li><li>Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.</li></ul><h1><strong>Qualifications</strong></h1><ul><li>Experience with Linux command line tools</li><li>Experience working with engineers in development and production environments</li><li>Able to work independently and problem solve efficiently with minimal supervision</li><li>Willingness to provide constructive feedback to the engineering and management teams to improve tooling designs, processes and procedures</li><li>Able to stay organized with strong attention to detail</li><li>Able to read and interpret wiring schematics and assembly drawings</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week</li></ul><h2><strong>Nice-to-have Skills</strong></h2><ul><li>Experience with CAD such as Solidworks or similar software</li><li>Experience with MES and ERP systems</li><li>Experience working in a Class 10k (ISO 7) cleanroom</li><li>Able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted</li></ul><h2><strong>Salary</strong></h2><p>The salary range for this role is $126,000-$187,000 ( converts to non-exempt hourly range of $61 - $89) and will depend on a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience as defined during the interview process.</p><h1> </h1><p> </p><h1><br><br><br><br><br><br></h1><p><strong>ITAR/EAR Requirements </strong></p><p>This position requires access to export controlled information.
