As a Construction Manager at PosiGen, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of solar panel installation projects. You will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Your role will involve managing teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Essential Job Functions<ul><li>Plan and schedule construction projects, including resource allocation and timelines.</li><li>Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure project specifications are met.</li><li>Manage construction crews and subcontractors, providing direction and support as needed.</li><li>Conduct site inspections to assess progress, quality, and safety compliance.</li><li>Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure a safe work environment.</li><li>Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, including addressing client concerns.</li><li>Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment needed for projects.</li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, permits, and inspection records.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by leadership.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Previous experience in construction management, preferably in the solar energy industry.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes, such as OSHA and NEC.</li><li>Experience managing construction projects from planning to completion.</li><li>Familiarity with construction management software and tools.</li><li>Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are desirable.</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Ability to work in a variety of extreme environmental conditions (e.g., high heat, cold temperatures).</li><li>Must be willing and able to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and work on rooftops of multi-level buildings, as well as within confined spaces such as attics.</li><li>While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly be required to speak and hear.
