Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets through the acquisition of new customers and promoting products and services to the existing client base, as well as developing market opportunities with a focus on up- and cross-selling. The position also requires regular collaboration with customers, commercial partners, and internal teams, including European stakeholders, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Acquire, develop, and manage existing customers and new prospects.</li><li>Identify market potential and qualify accounts. Prioritize accounts based on change, potential, and segmentation within a strategic sales and account plan.</li><li>Build and maintain a strong network with clients and stakeholders.</li><li>Initiate sales processes by scheduling appointments with both clients and prospects.</li><li>Identify customer needs and advise on WSS Expansion products and solutions that meet or exceed expectations.</li><li>Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders.</li><li>Act as the local point of contact for any commercial issues during project implementation.</li><li>Align product and solution offerings with specific customer needs, deliver compelling value propositions that differentiate from competitors, and apply appropriate sales approaches for each account and business context.</li><li>Manage and comply with the existing customer funneling strategy for both direct customers and indirect channels (e.g., service partners and distributors).</li><li>Support the collection of strategic market information by tracking competitors' products and customer feedback, and act accordingly.</li><li>Meet—and ideally exceed—sales targets by achieving personal and regional sales objectives.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system as per company policy, including opportunities, contracts, email correspondence, customer relations, tenders, and quotations.</li><li>When required, collaborate with third-party contractors to explore mutually beneficial solutions that support the goals of all parties involved (contractor, end user, Xylem), while fostering mutual trust.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical or commercial field, or equivalent professional experience.</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in a similar position with comparable products or within the technical sector.
