AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a talented and experienced Water Technical Leader to support water treatment and distribution related planning, design, and construction projects throughout the Northeast Region (New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey).The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the planning, design, construction, and operation of water related projects, including supply, treatment, pumping station, storage, and distribution / transmission. Join our team and help us continue to deliver innovating and successful projects.The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: <ul><li>Coordinate and oversee pilot studies.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee condition assessment of water infrastructure.</li><li>Perform process technology evaluations and selection based on raw water characteristics and flows to satisfy safe drinking water regulations.</li><li>Concept, preliminary and detail designs for water treatment plant upgrades.</li><li>Concept, preliminary and detailed designs for water distribution projects (pumping stations, storage tanks, and distribution / transmission mains).</li><li>Coordination with civil, hydraulic and mechanical aspects while guiding and  informing the architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and I&amp;C disciplines.</li><li>Assess trends in the marketplace and support business development activities related to water projects, including strategy, approach, and engineering fee.</li><li>Mentor and develop junior water process and designs staff.</li><li>Participate in local and national professional organizations, including attending and presenting at conferences.</li></ul>
