We are seeking a dedicated and reliable DOT Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and picking orders. The ideal candidate will possess DOT experience with a 26 foot box truck along with forklift, warehouse, and inventory experience. The hours are 7am to 4:30pm - Monday through Friday. Our ideal candidate is someone who values teamwork, safety, and is ready to contribute to the growing field of solar energy!RequirementsEssential Qualifications:<ul> <li> Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) certification. </li> <li>Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various positions.</li> <li>Experience in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and inventory management.</li> <li> Forklift operation experience is required, minimum of 2 years . </li> <li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality assurance abilities.</li> <li>Basic computer skills, including familiarization with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure effective interaction with team members and management.</li> <li>A self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.</li> <li>Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and other applicable assessments.</li> </ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Driving a box truck to deliver materials in a safe and timely manner.</li> <li>Preparing and documenting inventory for both new drives and ongoing projects.</li> <li>Assisting in picking and packing materials for solar installation teams.</li> <li>Receiving incoming materials and maintaining quality controls and inspections.</li> <li>Managing stock levels within the warehouse and coordinating reordering processes.</li> <li>Ensuring proper labeling and tracking of pallets and materials.</li> <li>Maintaining organization and cleanliness within the warehouse and outdoor areas.</li> <li>Supporting installers with timely deliveries of materials to site.</li> <li>Performing regular vehicle maintenance checks and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>Competitive salary based on skills and personal and company performance bonus system.</li> <li>Health Insurance</li> <li>Dental Insurance </li> <li>Vision Insurance </li> <li>Paid time off.</li> <li>Company 401K.</li> <li>Company ESOP. </li> <li>Fully paid solar trade training, if wanted.</li> </ul>About Solar Energy Solutions: Formed in 2006, Solar Energy Solutions delivers high-quality renewable energy solutions throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois and West Virginia.
