OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager – Standalone Services to oversee PO-based and contracted solar service projects, including DC remediation, wire management, QA/QC EPC milestone inspections, module washing and various corrective work. This role requires strong financial oversight, project scheduling, operational coordination, and customer communication to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The ideal candidate will have experience managing field operations, mobilizing teams, coordinating materials and logistics, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesProject &amp; Financial Management<ul><li>Oversee PO-based and contractual solar service projects, ensuring financial performance aligns with PO or contract value.</li><li>Manage daily financial tracking, including budget vs. actual cost analysis.</li><li>Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.</li></ul>Project Scheduling &amp; Execution<ul><li>Develop detailed project schedules, aligning milestones, workforce allocation, and material availability.</li><li>Comprehensive communication with on site field team to ensure customer deliverables are being met and progress is accurately communicated to the customer.</li><li>Ensure adherence to project schedules, tracking progress and addressing delays proactively.</li><li>Communicate schedule progress and updates to customers and internal teams.</li><li>Adjust and revise schedules as necessary, ensuring alignment with project goals and external factors.</li></ul>Customer &amp; Stakeholder Communication<ul><li>Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers, ensuring clear and professional communication.</li><li>Provide daily reports to customers, summarizing project progress, key findings, and next steps.</li><li>Collaborate with the Account Management team to align customer expectations and contract deliverables.</li></ul>Operational Execution &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Manage full project mobilization and demobilization, ensuring smooth deployment and wrap-up.</li><li>Coordinate materials, logistics, and workforce scheduling to meet project deadlines.</li><li>Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards for all corrective work and milestone inspections.</li><li>Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges to maintain project efficiency.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Quality Assurance<ul><li>Ensure adherence to industry safety regulations and best practices.</li><li>Conduct QA/QC inspections to validate the quality and integrity of work performed.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement measures to enhance service delivery and efficiency.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience Required<ul><li>3-5+ years of project management experience in solar services, renewable energy, or related fields.</li><li>Strong knowledge of DC remediation, wire management, and QA/QC inspections in solar energy.</li><li>Experience managing PO-based projects, including financial tracking and reporting.</li><li>Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Excel, Procore, Smartsheet).</li><li>Strong skills in customer communication, problem-solving, and logistics coordination.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced field environment.</li><li>Working knowledge of OSHA and solar industry safety standards.</li><li>PMP certification (preferred but not required).</li></ul>Location: We have a strong preference for candidates based near one of our office locations: Santa Monica, CA; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; Asheville, NC; Durham, NC; Washington, DC; or New York, NY.
