We are multi-disciplinary offices and provide great opportunities to widen your network, experience work on a wide variety of projects, in sectors across the board and provide an inclusive, supportive environment to work in.In this role you will: <ul><li>Co-ordinate and manage  project teams on  projects</li><li>Serve as discipline Lead engineer on mid-to large- size projects</li><li>Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise</li><li>Provide technical direction for studies and design efforts</li><li>Present technical solutions to clients</li><li>Perform quality control reviews of work developed by junior engineers</li><li>Participate in development of technical proposals</li><li>Assist in providing estimates for the engineering budget and schedule and oversees technical resources to meet requirements on large projects</li><li>Attend design team and coordination meetings where required.</li><li>Input to pre-qualification and selection of contractors, respond to tender queries, comment and review tender returns.</li><li>Attend tender interviews with the project manager.</li><li>Attend site inspection meetings.</li><li>Liaise with clients, professional organizations, contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors and other design team members.</li><li>Identify and meet effectively the requirements and expectations of clients.</li></ul>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Portfolio of relevant work demonstrating required competencies across broad sectors including industrial, defence, education, commercial and healthcare</li><li>Proficient in the use of OM, Dialux and Relux design software</li><li>Competent in the use of NBS specification writing software</li><li>Competent in coordinated services routes and optimising ceiling spaces working with other disciplines</li><li>Familiar with drawing outputs required for 3D modelling in Revit software</li><li>Thorough knowledge of BSRIA Design Guides</li><li>An intuitive approach to initial loading estimates to generate utility quotations and initial plant accommodation</li><li>Familiar with Building Regulations requirements for energy conservation, net zero and low carbon technologies</li><li>Excellent communication skills both internally and within the design team environment</li><li>Design experience of multi service design.</li></ul>
