However, in this position, the employee will also participate in commercial discussions, support the sales team, and assist with project execution activities (manufacturing and installation) as neededResponsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Discuss and present technical solutions to internal and external clients;</li><li>Develop P&amp;IDs, layouts, technical and commercial offers;</li><li>Create a list of necessary equipment to request quotes;</li><li>Request quotations from suppliers and other GEA entities to compose the project's overall solution;</li><li>Work on project pricing by carrying out calculations and filling in the cost formation template (advanced knowledge of Excel is desirable);</li><li>Create a preliminary execution schedule;</li><li>Carry out a preliminary technical assessment of sales leads and discuss them with the process/application engineering department;</li><li>Complete technical questionnaires (if applicable) to discuss leads with the group's Competence Centers;</li><li>Perform technical and commercial evaluations of received bids (RFPs, RFQs, tenders) with support from the application engineering team for technical issues;</li><li>Execute technical visits to the client (when necessary) to gather technical data for the offer preparation;</li><li>Participate in technical solution discussions with the GEA Competence Center and request relevant technical calculations, sizing, and information as applicable;</li><li>Coordinate technical team discussions to define P&amp;IDs and layouts while always considering client demands (knowledge of CAD and VISIO is desirable);</li><li>Develop a preliminary sales schedule in alignment with the execution team (knowledge of MS Project is desirable);</li><li>Prepare a risk analysis and mitigation plan, also identifying opportunities;</li><li>Collaborate with the Sales department to prepare documentation for the Handover Meeting;</li><li>Prepare, review and update documentation and related materials after receiving the client's purchase order (purchase order, sales order, contract, proposals, CRM, among others). Actively participating in understanding and internal transfer of the client’s installation standards, philosophies, and other relevant information;</li><li>Analyze client feedback, identifying possible Change Orders, and working with the Project Manager;</li><li>Manage leads and opportunities (knowledge of CRM is desirable);</li><li>Gather and share information relevant to product and solution management (customer/market feedback on our strengths and weaknesses) and business intelligence (manufacturers, competitors, and their subcontractors);</li><li>Actively and constantly follow up on proposals submitted;</li><li>Providing internal reports (current projects, gains and losses under their direct responsibility);</li><li>Know and follow the internal norms and policies of Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety, aiming to increase the commitment and engagement in the projects and programs developed by the company.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Masters Degree in Food, Chemical, Production Engineering or correlated areas.</li><li>Proven experience in Beverage / Food Industries and/or equipment and projects companies for this segment. </li><li>in-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics is required.</li><li>Desirable experience in selling industrial equipment and preparing budgets. </li><li>Advanced English is required. </li><li>Spanish is a plus.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
