This role is critical in expanding market adoption of our clean, domestically refined critical metals by building trusted relationships with Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, and key manufacturing leaders. </span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">You will help Phoenix Tailings drive commercial success and reshape U.S. supply chains by enabling industries to transition to sustainable and secure material sourcing. This is an opportunity to lead transformative sales efforts that directly support national security, clean technology, and industrial innovation. </span></div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Build and execute a strategic sales roadmap targeting Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs in defense </li><li>Establish and grow long-term partnerships with strategic customers aligned with national and commercial supply chain priorities </li><li>Lead negotiations for supply agreements and strategic partnerships with customers requiring critical and rare earth metals </li><li>Position Phoenix Tailings’ clean technology as a differentiated solution for domestic sourcing and ESG-aligned procurement </li><li>Identify and pursue emerging opportunities across defense programs, clean tech, and industrial applications </li><li>Represent Phoenix Tailings in high-level industry meetings, trade forums, and government-aligned initiatives </li><li>Translate customer needs and market feedback into actionable insights for internal teams </li><li>Build and lead a high-performing commercial team focused on high-value, strategic sales initiatives </li></ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships within the defense industry </li><li>Proven track record selling into Tier 1 defense suppliers, DoD contractors, or major primes </li><li>Strong understanding of federal procurement, defense acquisition, and government contracting </li><li>Track record of closing complex deals with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders </li><li>Ability to translate technical offerings into strategic value propositions tailored to mission-critical customer needs </li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and executive audiences </li><li>Deep interest in driving innovation, sustainability, and national resilience through materials technology </li></ul><h3>We offer a competitive compensation package that is based on expertise.
