TESP is located in Chatsworth, California, and has been manufacturing products since 1986.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develops realistic, detailed production schedules and conducts critical path analyses to support program planning and continuing performance evaluation.</li><li> Ensures timely preparation and submission of status and progress reports and related data required. Supports management and customer reviews as requested by the program manager.</li><li>Develops reports and techniques to monitor production program schedule variances against the plan and current forecasts.</li><li> Examines material requirements against MRP recommendations for scheduled delivery to meet Kit release dates.</li><li> Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.</li><li> Requisitions material to establish sequential delivery dates to departments, manufacturing order kit needs according to job order priorities and material availability.</li><li> Compiles, maintains and analyzes a monthly computerized report of material inventory for raw material, work in progress and finished goods including excess and obsolete material reports with recommendations and actions to be taken to meet established inventory turns goals.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred</li><li>Minimum 4 years previous experience as a Scheduler in a Manufacturing environment</li><li>Aerospace/Defense industry knowledge preferred</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Proficient use of MS Excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables, charts/graphs)</li><li>Presentations to internal/external customers</li><li>Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully</li></ul>In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne ESP requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).Please note the salary range posted is a general guideline for this job level and location.
