POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President, Public &amp; Government Affairs, serves as the senior executive leader for all government and regulatory affairs in both the US and Canada.  This role is accountable for shaping and executing the company’s strategy, ensuring consistent engagement and influence with key decision-makers and aligning public policy outcomes with business objectives.  The VP of Public &amp; Government Affairs ensures full compliance with all political and lobbying requirements, reinforces the company’s commitment to the highest ethical standards, and leads training and communication strategies to support that goal. Builds strategic relationships with senior policymakers, regulatory officials, and other key stakeholders to influence the development of favorable laws, rules, and standards.</li><li>Serves as the chief representative of the company in both federal and state legislatures as well as local government forums, speaking on high-impact issues, shaping public discourse, and positioning the company as a trusted and solutions-oriented industry leader.</li><li>Oversees and evaluates the performance of contracted lobbying firms and public affairs consultants, ensuring alignment with company objectives and return on investment.
