In this role, you'll identify, engage, and close strategic enterprise deals — partnering with some of the world’s most influential brands to integrate verified nature-based solutions into their business models.This is a high-impact, senior-level role for someone who is a trusted advisor to their network, understands how to sell complex solutions, and wants to drive real environmental impact at scale. Key Responsibilities<ul> <li>Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to closing, focusing on high-value strategic partnerships.</li> <li>Leverage your existing network to quickly identify new opportunities and build a robust pipeline of aligned enterprise prospects.</li> <li>Partner with internal teams (Solutions, Operations, and Marketing) to craft tailored proposals and demonstrate the unique value of Veritree’s platform.</li> <li>Conduct executive-level meetings and presentations to key decision-makers.</li> <li>Negotiate contracts and ensure seamless hand-off to post-sales support teams.</li> <li>Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).</li> <li>Act as a brand ambassador and thought leader in the climate-tech and sustainability space.</li> </ul> 3-Month Milestones (Ramp-Up Phase) Internal Enablement &amp; Learning<ul> <li>Complete all onboarding and product training.</li> <li>Understand the company’s ideal customer profile (ICP), value proposition, and key use cases.</li> <li>Learn internal tools (CRM, sales engagement platform, call recording, etc.) and processes (pipeline reviews, deal forecasting, legal/procurement steps).</li> </ul>Territory and Account Planning<ul> <li>Build (with support of Sales Leadership) and present a territory or named account plan, identifying top target accounts and key stakeholders.</li> <li>Map buying committees and org charts at high-priority accounts.</li> <li>Begin outbound prospecting into 5–10 Tier 1 accounts.</li> </ul>Pipeline Development<ul> <li>Book and run early discovery or intro meetings (goal: 10 meetings/week by month 3).</li> <li>Have at least 2–3 opportunities in early stages of pipeline by end of month 3.</li> <li>Shadow successful AEs and participate in active deal cycles to accelerate learning. </li> </ul>6 Month MilestonesPipeline Maturity &amp; Progression<ul> <li>Have 3x in qualified pipeline</li> <li>Progress at least 1–2 late-stage opportunities</li> <li>Close your first deal!</li> </ul>Execution &amp; Strategy<ul> <li>Demonstrate mastery of discovery and demoing for complex enterprise customers.</li> <li>Refine account plans for top 10 target accounts with personalized outreach or ABM plans.</li> <li>Identify key expansion opportunities within early-stage or new clients.</li> </ul>Forecasting &amp; Internal Visibility<ul> <li>Own your pipeline and forecast in CRM, regularly reviewed with sales leadership.</li> <li>Contribute insights on buyer objections, product gaps, or competitor movements back to product/marketing.</li> </ul>Cultural &amp; Team Integration<ul> <li>Be a go-to peer for feedback, enablement sharing, and team collaboration.</li> <li>Start mentoring newer team members or contributing to internal best practices.</li> </ul>Requirements <h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><ul> <li>5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, impact-driven tech, or sustainability-related services.</li> <li>A robust personal network of potential clients in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or related sectors.</li> <li>Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.</li> <li>Strong business acumen and the ability to align customer needs with a strategic vision.</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.</li> <li>Highly self-motivated, organized, and driven by mission as much as revenue.</li> <li>Passion for climate solutions, sustainability, and social impact.</li> </ul>Benefits<h3>Why Join Veritree?</h3><ul> <li>Be part of a mission-driven company creating measurable, verified environmental impact.</li> <li>Work with a passionate, supportive, and innovative team.</li> <li>Competitive compensation with uncapped commission structure.</li> <li>Flexible remote work environment and generous time off.</li> <li>Opportunities for growth in a fast-scaling climate tech company.
