This role is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all On-Site O/M activities related to the Balance of Plant works for the Offshore Wind Generation facility.JOB DUTIES1. Execute safe operations on managed onshore and offshore transmission assets.2. Become Authorized Person under company safety rules in accordance with OSHA and BSEE standards. Including but not limited to the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Carrying out High-Voltage switching operations under the direction of a System Operator</li><li>Comply with company policy to implement Lockout / Tagout provisions on system isolations.</li><li>Perform de-energized verification testing of electrical transmission circuits and apparatus using approved work methods.</li><li>Determine appropriate locations and install personal protective grounds in accordance with approved work methods.</li><li>Hold “Clearance” for responsibility of work on the Primary (High-Voltage Network)</li><li>Review switching schedules to be accurate and correct for the work to be performed under a Clearance.</li><li>Provide oversight and safety observation of contractor works under a Clearance.</li></ul>3. Ability to read and interpret One- Line operating diagrams.4. Have thorough understanding and knowledge of electrical work scopes and associated hazards to take responsibility for oversight and management of work crews.5. Perform planned and unplanned maintenance activities on HV electrical equipment and associated protection and control systems.6. Perform work in accordance with relevant procedures, processes and technical literature.7.
