Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Perform precise measurements using metrology tools and equipment.</li><li>Conduct measurements on products and contamination.</li><li>Calibrate, maintain, and repair metrology equipment and tools.</li><li>Document and report all measurement, calibration, and test results.</li><li>Identify and solve any problems that may affect the accuracy of measurements.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering teams to identify measurement requirements.</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain calibration processes and procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with quality control standards and procedures.</li><li>Work as part of a team of Metrology Technicians to provide accurate results to the engineering team.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in the measurement process.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Proven experience as a Metrology Technician or similar role.</li><li>Associate degree in Metrology, Engineering, or a relevant field; certification in metrology is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).</li><li>Understanding of technical prints.</li><li>Prior experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).</li><li>Knowledge of metrology principles and measurement tools.</li><li>Experience with calibration procedures.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams.</li><li>Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.</li></ul>Communication &amp; Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
