Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Accounting Manager will perform a broad range of accounting duties as both a team member and an independent contributor within the Finance and Accounting team.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>High visibility with investors, collectively valued at $3.9 billion in capital commitments, including managing capital calls, distributions, and various reporting requirements.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with controls, corporate policies, and statutory requirements in areas of responsibility.</li><li>Collaborating with counterparts to ensure consistency across processes and to support operations.</li><li>Assisting in audits and interfacing with external auditors and tax compliance professionals.</li><li>Completing month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial close processes in a timely manner.</li><li>Preparing journal entries and ensuring proper general ledger coding to support monthly closings.</li><li>Reviewing complex contracts.</li><li>Setting up and maintaining budgets and cost structures in the accounting software.</li><li>Preparing and distributing monthly operating and finance reports to financing parties.</li><li>Willingness to travel and work early or late hours as required to support operations across multiple time zones (e.g., New York, London, Abu Dhabi).</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with team objectives.</li><li>Other projects as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Combination of 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in an accounting department with relevant experience; superior academic performance in lieu of work experience will be considered.</li><li>Experience in a nationally ranked public accounting firm or relevant renewable energy company is highly desired.</li><li>Proven track record of working well within a team environment, taking ownership of processes and procedures, experience in shared services center environment is helpful.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results oriented, process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.</li><li>Proficient on MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, etc.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and related accounting information systems, or related applications in a construction environment preferred.</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Superior academic performance from a major institution is required.</li><li>Minimum BS/BA in Accountancy or Finance, MBA is highly desired.</li><li>CPA license is highly desired.</li></ul>Why Join Arevon?
