Duties and Responsibilities• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.<ul><li>Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.</li><li>Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.</li><li>Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.</li><li>Identifies discrepancies in results.</li><li>Provides guidance to entry level engineers.</li><li>Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.</li><li>Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.</li><li>Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.</li><li>Designs and optimizes plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems for various types of buildings and structures.</li><li>Conducts energy efficiency analyses and proposes improvements to existing PHE systems.</li><li>Collaborates with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure integrated design solutions.</li><li>Develops and maintains project schedules, ensuring timely completion of PHE design deliverables.</li><li>Mentors junior engineers and provides technical guidance on complex PHE design issues.</li><li>Participates in client meetings to present design concepts and address technical queries.</li><li>Ensures compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations in PHE system designs.</li><li>Performs quality control checks on PHE designs and documentation before final submission.</li><li>Contributes to the development of in-house design standards and best practices for PHE systems. </li></ul>
