We have an enjoyable, dynamic and collaborative work environment. </li></ul> What you’ll doAs an Air Systems - Electrical Engineer at Infravision, your core responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Apply electrical engineering knowledge to the design and development of new products as well as product changes and enhancements.</li><li>Conduct electrical circuit and system-level design analysis, embedded systems hardware testing and electrical circuit troubleshooting.</li><li>Develop test simulations, test methods and perform required testing or data collection</li><li>Conduct root cause failure analysis at the component through system level</li><li>Support continuation engineering of existing released products</li><li>Perform reliability analysis leading to product quality improvement</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes</li><li>Give detailed project estimates for time and cost</li><li>Develop mixed-signal PCB schematics and layout designs.</li><li>Work with outside design partners and vendors for new product designs and maintain current products</li><li>Maintain technical coordination with Engineering, products design, test, EMC engineering and manufacturing.</li><li>Work with other engineering, manufacturing, sales / marketing, and quality assurance staff to coordinate pilot production of new products</li><li>Resolve PCB design issues with fabrication and fracturing vendors. Proactively participates in the evolution and definition of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines.</li><li>Provide engineering support to factory/customer support</li><li>Provide and coordinate engineering support for prototype builds and lab testing</li><li>Write test plans and procedures for manufacturing and testing.</li><li>Maintain currency on all relevant safety and electrical compliance standards and educate the team when changes occur.</li></ul> What we are looking forRequired Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>BS Degree in Electrical engineering  or other related engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.</li><li>5+ years of experience in Electrical design and development </li><li>Strong knowledge and experience in mixed-signal PCB schematics and layout.</li><li>Experience with Product Engineering and development.</li><li>Experience with design and implementation of low power, battery-operated equipment.</li><li>Experience using CAN, and electro-mechanical systems on mobile vehicles.</li><li>Experience with FCC, EU and other certification bodies.</li><li>Knowledge of electronic systems used on vehicles.</li><li>Extensive experience with Altium Schematic Capture and PCB Design tools or equivalent.</li><li>Experience with TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, and/or Wi-Fi.</li><li>Experience with version control using git.</li><li>Experience supporting multiple products and platforms in Sustaining Engineering situations concurrently with new product development.</li><li>Awareness of the interaction of software and hardware in complex systems and/or real-time embedded systems</li><li>Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers for testing purposes.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, creative, innovative and open-minded.</li><li>Ability to travel within the U.S. and internationally including Canada, Australia, India and Europe.</li></ul> Highly Desirable Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Must be able to work independently, as well as closely with others in a small team as the situation requires, both within the office / workshop environment and in the field.</li><li>Experience with lean software development methodologies.</li><li>This is safety-critical software, so background in safety-critical hardware development is a plus.</li><li>Self-driven professional able to work in a team or individually, demonstrating a high personal interest in</li><li>Quality Assurance areas of software development and committed to producing high quality work.</li><li>Self-motivated to expand current skill set and develop knowledge of autonomous systems, robotics and the Infravision product stack.</li><li>Holds a current or has held Part 107 pilot licence.</li></ul> Next StepsClick on the Apply button to start your journey and join the Infravision team today.
