This role involves conducting quality inspections, performing data analysis, and developing and implementing quality control plans. The Quality Specialist works closely with cross functional teams to address quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Responsibilities: Ensuring Product Quality • Conducting Quality Control Inspections • Performing Quality Assurance Tests • Analyzing Product Defects and Implementing Corrective Actions • Maintaining Product Quality Standards • Collaborating with Production Team to Address Quality Issues Ensuring Compliance with Regulations • Staying Updated on Industry Regulations • Implementing Quality Control Measures to Meet Regulatory Standards • Conducting Audits and Inspections to Ensure Compliance • Maintaining Documentation for Regulatory RequirementsImproving Quality Processes • Identifying Areas for Improvement in Quality Processes • Developing and Implementing Quality Improvement Plans • Conducting Root Cause Analysis for Quality Issues • Training Production Team on Quality Standards and ProcessesManaging Quality Control Systems • Implementing and Maintaining Quality Control Systems • Monitoring and Analyzing Quality Control Data • Identifying and Addressing Quality Control System Issues • Implementing Process Control Measures to Improve QualityCommunicating Quality Concerns • Reporting Quality Issues to Management • Communicating Quality Control Policies and Procedures to Production Team • Collaborating with Cross Functional Teams to Address Quality Concerns • Providing Quality Control Reports and Updates to Management Qualifications: • Technical Certification or Associates degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.• Proficient in reading engineering drawings, applying GD&amp;T fundamentals, calibration and use of measurement devices and systems. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL). • In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.• In-depth understanding of quality control plans, dimensional reports, and FMEAs. • Experience with conducting inventory audits and implementing process improvements. • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems. • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve inventory issues • Proven ability to influence and drive change across various levels of the organization. • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders. • Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
