This role involves assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and maintaining high-quality output. The supervisor also addresses any issues on the production floor, ensures equipment is safely used and well-maintained and provides regular reports on production progress. Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage day-to-day operations of the plant delivering key performance indicators (safety, quality, production and cost). </li><li>Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance. </li><li>Ensure a safe working environment is established and maintained. </li><li>Enforce good housekeeping standards. </li><li>Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals. </li><li>Ensure paperwork &amp; status reporting are completed timely and accurately  </li><li>Ensure daily and consistent communications and shift meetings. </li><li>Perform work assigned by Production Manager to ensure successful operation. </li><li>Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance. </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience/wood products background. </li><li>Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge. </li><li>Must be self-motivated and detail oriented. </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Must be a team player/previous management a plus.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent education.</li><li>Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees </li><li>Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment </li><li>Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight to address unexpected site issues. </li><li>Climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis up to 100 ft  </li><li>Must be able to push, pull and lift items up to 50 lbs </li><li>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.</li></ul><div>EEO Statement Enviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
