Solid theoretical background with publications in renowned transactions / journals.</li><li>Strong competence in one or more of the following areas: power electronics topology analysis; converter modelling and control; power electronics application in HVDC, MVDC, FACTS, micro grid, renewable energy integration, energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, etc. </li><li> Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: converter analysis and design, especially MMC; converter topology development and optimization; high power IGBT or IGCT application; converter cost analysis and reduction. Proficient in computation and simulation software tools, e.g., Matlab, Simulink, PSCAD, PLECS, etc.</li><li>Excellent innovation capability and competence of application-oriented research. Self-motivated, high curiosity and ability to learn new technologies. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
