We only place current students that need to do a mandatory internship for university.</em></p><h3><strong>About Farmless</strong></h3><p>At Farmless we’re brewing amino acid complete proteins without agricultural land. We’re creating a new interface between food and energy by selecting nutritious microbes that taste great and can grow on renewable energy-based feedstocks. Our fermentation platform is up to 5000 times more land efficient than animals, which allows humanity to free up vast amounts of land, rewild our planet and draw down gigatons of carbon.<strong><br><br>The Role</strong></p><p>In this role you will support in the implementation of a robust food quality system for our new brewery in Amsterdam. During this internship you will work closely with our experienced team.</p><h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Contribute to the design and implementation of Food Quality Systems, including protocol development, work instructions, and compliance procedures.</p></li><li><p>Assist in setting up and maintaining specification management, ensuring accurate data entry for ingredients, nutritional values, allergens, and product attributes.</p></li><li><p>Support on Novel Food Application and regulatory compliance.</p></li><li><p>Participate in the creation and refinement of quality assurance protocols, including product testing, external analysis coordination, etc.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Background in Food Quality, Food Safety, Food Technology or related field.</p></li><li><p>Experience in working in Food Manufacturing Environment is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Team player skills with excellent English proficiency.</p></li><li><p>We only hire interns that need to do a mandatory internship to graduate from university</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Rewards</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Purpose-driven work: contribute to the future of food</p></li><li><p>Enjoy free, healthy vegan lunches, snacks, and drinks.</p></li><li><p>Thrive in a diverse, international and dynamic team</p></li></ul>

<p>Agriculture has taken over almost half of all habitable land on earth, pushing nature over the brink, and the world needs an affordable protein source that can be produced without the need for agricultural land. Farmless has found a way to achieve this: by brewing carbon-negative, functional proteins with a complete amino acid profile.</p>
<p>The Farmless process combines the ancient craft of fermentation &ndash; which has been used for millennia to brew beer and bake bread &ndash; with a modern feedstock (the scientific term for a starter liquid). &nbsp;Whereas most fermentation companies rely on sugar, Farmless uses a feedstock made from CO2, water, nitrogen and renewable energy &ndash; bypassing the need for agricultural land. &nbsp;</p>
