AECOM is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Experienced Procurement Specialist  to join our team in procuring water/wastewater treatment equipment. This role is critical in supporting our clients needs relating to large capital projects.  The ideal candidate will be experienced in procurement implementation/coordination, supplier relationship management, legal and commercial negotiation, and coordinating closely with both internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Vendor Interaction and Management:<ul><li>Engage with vendors throughout the negotiation process, driving agreements to close.</li><li>Meet requirements for completeness, competitiveness, compliance, quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment stakeholder standards.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the wider project teams, including the Owner, Engineers, Legal etc.</li></ul>Contract Preparation and Legal Coordination:<ul><li>Negotiate contracts for selected vendors, and coordinate with legal counsel as needed.</li></ul>Industry Knowledge and Pricing Trends:<ul><li>Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends to ensure accurate pricing and effective vendor management.</li><li>Leverage market insights to optimize procurement and support cost-efficiency goals.</li></ul>
